Loved it the first time that we came back, This time my husband got the Cubano. It is one of the BEST cubanos we've tasted (I HAD to have a bite). "I have NEVER written a bad restaurant review before, but I felt compelled in this case. I was appalled at how I was treated here. We moved to Whitefish in April and have loved the restaurant scene and how friendly the staff usually are, so this experience was a complete departure from everything else we’ve experienced here. The greeting was fine, but everything went downhill after that. After waiting 40 minutes for a simple order of eggs and avocado toast, I only received half of my food. When I politely pointed this out, I was rudely told that’s all I had ordered and repeatedly asked if there were two tickets or separate payments, which there were not. I was then told it was on two separate tickets, as if that were somehow my mistake. The issue wasn’t the mix-up, it was how it was handled. I wasn’t rude, I simply pointed out that part of my order was missing, yet I was made to feel like the problem. The food itself may be good, but it doesn’t matter. We will not return, nor would we recommend this place to anyone. As a small business owner myself, I’m usually overly gracious to other small businesses because I understand the challenges. But I also know how crucial respect and kindness are to customer experience and that was completely absent here."
