What People Are Saying
from Google"I visited July 2025. And dang, I was super excited to try Veera for the first time, but so disappointed. We got the maple donut - which was good. The Ding Dong donut was very dry. The pop tart and the old fashioned blueberry were both underbaked and doughy. So disappointing. Donuts need to be baked well and they did not come through on this. Hopefully this was a one off. Hard to say if I will try them again or not."
"I totally uphold the stereotype. As a former law enforcement officer please consider this an "Official Endorsement!" Alright, folks, gather 'round, because as a card-carrying, badge-wearing (okay, formerly badge-wearing, but the sentiment remains!) member of the thin blue line, I've had my share of donuts. I've seen 'em all. From the greasy spoon specials to the fancy, artisanal creations that look too good to eat (but you still do). But let me tell you, Vera Donuts? This place isn't just good; it's a public service. From the moment I walked in, I felt right at home. The aroma alone could probably solve a few cold cases – it's that inviting. And the selection? My goodness, it's like every donut dream I've ever had decided to throw a party right there in the display case. I'm talking about glazes that shine brighter than a squad car after a fresh wash, and sprinkles that could make even the toughest officer crack a smile. I went for my classic: a gigantic apple fritter!! Boom boom. And let me tell you, it was perfection. Crispy on the outside, tender on the inside, and just the right amount of sweet. It's the kind of donut that reminds me of why I ultimately got into this line of work in the first place. I also snagged an old fashioned well, you've gotta have backup, right? And it didn't disappoint. So, to the fine folks at Vera Donuts, I salute you. You're not just making donuts; you're upholding a time-honored tradition and, dare I say, doing your part to keep the peace, one delicious, perfectly crafted ring of joy at a time. I might not be in uniform anymore, but my commitment to excellent donuts is stronger than ever. And for that, Vera Donuts, you've earned yourself a lifelong patron. Keep up the incredible work, and you can bet your bottom dollar I'll be back. Probably sooner rather than later. My sweet tooth has a standing warrant for more of your deliciousness!"
"The everything bagel is a must have!! A Savory donut! This was a delicious surprise! 10 out of 10, RUN! Don’t walk, these beauties are only made when the owner is working."
"Veera is a vegan donut shop with a huge selection of massive gourmet donuts, and for a long time it was one of my favorite spots. Unfortunately, my recent visits haven't lived up to what it used to be. The donuts don't seem as fresh or high quality as they once were. They were noticeably drier and denser than I remember, which was disappointing given how good they used to be. The flavors are still creative, but the execution just isn't quite there lately. Service also felt pushy and a bit rude, which was a contrast from the friendly experience I remember in the past. There's no seating inside, so it's strictly grab-and-go. I really hope this is just an off period because Veera used to be excellent. The concept is great and the selection is impressive, it just hasn't been hitting the same recently."
"Worst donuts I've ever had... except for the apple fritter. I had the one with raspberry and blueberry coating $5 and NO FILLING! WTH? Also, the white icing on top was so sweet. I scraped it off. The one with filling (light green) macha??? Was horrible! $13.50 for 3 boring nasty donuts??? NEVER AGAIN!!"
