from Google"I haven't been in this bldg since it was Cafe Dolce. I'm glad it's still an Italian restaurant. I sure miss the gelato tho. Very comfortable atmosphere & staff. They really went out of their way to PRO-ACTIVELY care for every person that was dining. Loved the Lavender butter & black garlic butter on the still warm rosemary bread Yum The shrimp Pasta starter was amazing and the sauce/peppers were perfect for being scooped with the rosemary black garlic combo. I had the sea bass but it was a little flat (pardon the pun). Seriously though it was just a little of a bummer compared to the rest of the meal. I'd blame it on a new chef and kitchen staff but today was Friday so I'd expect them to have their A Team on it. Budino dessert with the dessert wine (Donini) was unbelievably smoothe ... an unexpected and tasty counterbalance to the savory previous courses. I had as much fun if not more than when it was Cafe Dolce. UBS"
"Outstanding meal and experience—as always—last night. This is our neighborhood restaurant, and we love it. All staff are wonderful, friendly, knowledgeable, and proud of the business. Maddie and Alcyone have always treated us so well. Chef Charles’s dishes are blissful. We enjoyed a wonderful truffle special. This restaurant is “star” worthy, for sure. And the summer patio is one of the best in Missoula."
"I don’t eat pasta that often and hadn’t had Italian food in years but this place completely won me over. We went for date night and from the moment we arrived I was impressed. The building is absolutely beautiful, contemporary, warm, and inviting with a great atmosphere that set the tone for the evening. We started with their lavender butter and fresh bread which was such a fun and delicious surprise. Subtle, floral, and super creamy. But the real stars were the pasta dishes. My date had the rotini plate and I went with the bucatini. Both were extraordinary. The sauces were incredibly flavorful, layered, balanced, and clearly made with care. You could taste the thought and quality in every bite. If you’re craving Italian that feels fresh, creative, and made with love this spot is absolutely worth checking out."
"Hello, it was my first time here. As I walked in, I was pleased by the look: very clean, open, and lots of light! We were greeted nicely and were there for lunch. The first thing I noticed was that all of us were freezing, which was uncomfortable. As I looked at the menu, there were items that were on the online menu but not on the physical menu. We were coming for pizza at 1 PM and also desserts. I was confused when I ordered a Caesar salad; it was sliced cabbage, not romaine, and quite weird. My cup of soup was less than half full, about four bites, and that was disappointing. We asked if they had dessert, and of all the desserts, they said tiramisu, which is what we opted for to be safe. It was a big bowl of I-have-no-idea, and the top was a huge pile of chocolate cocoa powder. One of my guests, who was paying for everything, only ate half of her dish and was going to ask for a to-go box, but the waiter just grabbed it and threw it out. Being a chef myself and trying to enjoy a meal out at a new place, I was just confused on a few things like my salad and the dessert."
"We came here twice: lunch and dinner. Both the times, the food and service were excellent. Their kale soup was hearty with a hint of spice from the sausage. The grilled cheese sandwich was among the best I’ve ever had."
