"This was by far my best burger experience in helena over 40 years of living here. We ordered 3 different burgers, 3 shakes, fries and the poutine. I had the bacon blue and it was delicately complex and bright. The Huckleberry and blue cheese complimented eachother so well. My only regret with this burger is that i wasnt brave enough to make it a double. My sons thuroughly enjoyed their burgers and were stuffed which is rare. The shakes are super thick! I had to let mine melt a little bit. I love that they had sprinkles on them. Customer service was incredible. The gentleman who took our order was friendly and it was evident he takes pride in what hes producing and has a passion for food. I would recommend this burger spot for anyone visiting the area. Its amazing food presented beautifully. They also have a dine in location"

"Visiting from Kalispell and wish we had a burger place this good. They did add cheese to my wife’s burger when she said no cheese but the manager and chef both apologized and quickly made it right. The flavor of the hamburger was amazing and the bacon was out of this world. We will definitely come back again when we’re in Helena again."

"Couldn't be better. Amazing staff, amazing food, and great experience overall. I came down to Montana twice in the last month and found this gem of a place. Not only was it amazing food, I found that their ingredients and recipes are top notch. I've had all of their 5 major burgers and I love them all and was so surprised by how good the fish burger was with such an amazing sauce. The fresh ingredients are so unbelievably good. Just Bravo! "I really wanted to like Copperlike Smash Burgers, but the fundamentals just weren’t there. A smash burger lives and dies by seasoning, heat, and Maillard reaction. Unfortunately, the patties here were completely underseasoned—no discernible salt, no pepper, and no real beef flavor. I intentionally ordered one burger without sauce or cheese to remove any distractions, and it confirmed the issue: the meat itself had zero depth and finished dry rather than juicy. Even more surprising was the lack of grill or griddle flavor. A proper smash should have aggressive browning and crisp edges; these tasted flat, almost steamed. There was none of that caramelized, beefy crust you expect. The second burger didn’t fare much better. The American cheese leaned heavily synthetic, melting without adding richness or balance. The grilled onions—normally a saving grace—were oddly bland and lacked sweetness or char. Smash burgers are simple food, but that simplicity demands precision. When seasoning, temperature, and browning aren’t dialed in, there’s nowhere to hide. Right now, Copperlike feels like a place going through the motions of a smash burger rather than understanding what makes one great."
