"This place is a hidden Helena gem! It was a suggestion from the Vintage place next door Margie's another shop you should check out in town. I was greeted by a sweet and friendly Rain. He seated me; then Amanda came promptly to take my drink order. She suggested a lovely Chilean white and suggested the special salmon cake starter. A delicious pairing! Chef Eric created a yummy chipotle sauce with the salmon cakes, on a bed of red cabbage slaw, topped with the best pickled 🥕 carrots. After I finished, the manager, Katie came to check on me. She was so pleasantly told me more about the restaurant. Both Katie and Rain had a connection to my hometown Saint Louis ⚜️, Missouri. A wonderful experience for a single diner. Most restaurant staff don't have such genuine connections with lone diners. Thank you all for my great Happy Hour treat!"

"I was absolutely blown away by this restaurant. I had never been in before and decided on a whim to stop in tonight. The food was incredible, the staff were so friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere was wonderfully calm and comfortable. I could not fathom how such a top tier restaurant had such reasonable prices!! I haven’t had such a fantastic dining experience in a long time. Thank you SO much!"

"The restaurant has a chic atmophere, may need to upgrade the carpet or to hard flooring for cleanliness reason. There is entertainment on fridays with piano & saxophone, great for dates. The burger is real meat, no fillers with mashed up potatoes. The salmon is really cooked to perfection with mashed up potatoes. The tomatoe bisque is heartwarming. It is paired with local white wine. I was anticipating the bison steak on stick for our appetizers, but did not come. Was overlooked but I was glad because we were already stuffed from our entre, but have room to appeal our sweet palate with delectable creme brulee. Highly recommended for wholesome dining."

"We stumbled on to this absolute gem 1 block from central downtown Helena. As we walked in, a pianist was playing on a baby grand piano. This set the mood for an intimate dining experience. We were warmly greeted by wonderful staff and received attentive service by Tizer. Thank you Tizer for making our time at Benny’s so special. We enjoyed a Duck Bruschetta appetizer, Beet Salads, Wild Mushroom Fettuccini, Wild Sockeye Salmon, and the Flourless Chocolate Torte with Raspberry Coulis. The farm to table freshness, flavor, and variety of meal options was such a treat and the best meal we have had on our trip this far. We will definitely make a trip back to Helena specifically to visit Benny’s Bistro. Thank you to the owners, Chef, and entire staff. Bravo!"
