What People Are Saying
from Google"SMOKED is an excellent little American BBQ restaurant. I tried the beef brisket on a bun w/small side of spicy coleslaw & added a side of the Mac & Cheese + potato salad (which was the best potato salad I’ve ever had) - No Joke. Everything was extremely homemade, tender, & very flavorful tasting and certainly did not have that big corporate BBQ restaurant taste and vibe. The place has a great aesthetic and energy to this small BBQ eatery. After you get your tray of food you you can stop at a counter near by to add pickles, pickles onions, & pickled jalepenos for your sandwich or other dishes. I did notice they had homemade looking banana & pumpkin cream pies available (personal size). At the table there is an assortment of BBQ sauces for your food. All in all the food was excellent and I would definitely go back when I visit Great Falls. Everything you could wish a place like this to be. SMOKED checked all the boxes for me as a small BBQ restaurant."
"Outstanding, there’s not really much more to say! I was late to get to the airport and I wanted something good to eat while I was there so I picked up a brisket sandwich, some mac & cheese, and an extra potato salad and they were all delicious. The people working there were also very nice and helpful. Great experience and if I’m ever traveling through here again I will definitely stop by."
"Stopped here while in town for work, and I'm glad I did. Got the brisket plate with the spicy pasta salad and pork belly Mac. It was all fantastic. 9.5/10 overall. Staff was very polite as well, even dealing with a large crowd. Would recommend."
"We were leaving a Harvest Host in Billings Montana, Mydland Angus Ranch, and the owner highly recommended this place on our way out to Glacier. THIS DID NOT DISAPPOINT! A family business, friendly, patient, accommodating, happy and smiling, superb brisket and pastrami!!! Belly's were full upon departure but we STILL purchased more meats to take with us!"
"Recently moved back to Montana from living in the south and midwest for some years. I have been looking for some good local bbq so we decided to try this place. The ribs were pretty good, I wasn’t too crazy about the seasoning but the meat itself tasted good. Better than what I had when I lived in St. Louis. The brisket sandwich was a little dry but overall still edible. However, the sides left something to be desired. The mac and cheese was super bland. If i had done a blind taste test I wouldn’t have been able to really tell what it was; tasted like slightly cheesy mush. The potato salad was ok. Tasted like store bought rather than house made. Needs more flavor all in all."
