from Google"We've eaten here a few times over the last year. Food is always good, but I expected a little more variation in the menu since it's "farm to table". Always fun to sit at the bar and watch the flow in the kitchen. Great service, feels like a locals favorite. Love the featured artwork as well. Make sure to make a reservation"
"Absolutely fabulous!! These folks know how to craft a beautiful menu that will delight your taste buds — all with incredibly well-sourced local ingredients! I was hesitant to order the pork belly, not because I don't love pork belly, but because I wasn't sure about the "asian flare" this version had — but OMG it was absolutely DELICIOUS! I love when a chef knows how to get just the right flavor combination that makes a dish delicious from first to LAST bite. 😋"
"Came here for a nice "family" dinner for the first night we were in town, and with some reservations they were able to handle our group of 14 just fine. Wait staff was very informative and helpful, and let us know that much of what they make is locally sourced which I always find to be a nice little added touch. That being said, that means the menu often rotates, so hopefully you get lucky and get the same great meals we did! Decor is very modern, we sat on the rooftop which was delightful on a coolish evening, but there are also inside options. To start with drinks, we split a bottle of High Plains Drifter, a sparkling apple cider which was delightful and nearly was reminiscent of a light white wine. Then for appetizers we had the grilled sourdough and fried carrots with broccolini, and let me say, those were some of the best veggies I've ever tried. For mains I had the potato gnocchi and I tried the spicy noodle salad. The gnocchi is a bit rich but delicious and the spicy noodle salad lives up to its name and got a few of my friends a little choked up, but that isn't too say it wasn't very fresh and flavorful. I also tried the anise ice cream, which as I might have expected, wasn't for me, but that's personal taste, I don't like licorice, but I can tell the quality is there if you are one who likes to partake."
"First time being at Little Star and it did not disappoint! Food was wonderful and service was great. We tried the carrots and the hummus for entrees and they were both delicious! I had the pork tamales they great portions and amazing flavor, my husband had the lamb pasta, they were very generous with the lamb but the pasta was too al dente for my taste- my husband thought the pasta was ok, just different tastes. For dessert we had the chocolate chip cookie with vanilla ice cream - the ice cream was delicious, cookie was ok. We got some recommendations from our waitress and she knew what she was talking about - nothing like staff that knows and have tried the menu to be able to share more with the customers. Considering that we did a full meal, two entres, two main dishes, one alcoholic drink and one nonalcoholic, and dessert my husband and I thought that prices were pretty reasonable-for a nice kind of special occasion Bozeman restaurant. We will definitely be back!"
"This place is one of a kind amazing!! I came in with high expectations and they beat them. From the down to earth service to the highest quality and unique dishes. Ordered the warm sourdough pita with squash to start and it was unreal. Our group got various entrees that were all super. Their menu changes but I can ensure anything on it will be amazing. Something for everyone! Thanks so much for great Christmas meal - see you soon!!"
