"This place is a very unique pastry shop. It is a French and Vietnamese inspired shop. A lot of the dishes have a balance between French and Vietnamese vibes. The staff member was really helpful and making the decision for the pastries that we ended up with. Definitely wish I had more time to have all the other items on their menu."
"It was a cute shop, the pastry’s looked good. Went in on Sunday. Unfortunately, I ordered the chai latte and was asked to pick something else because the directions on how to make it did not make sense. So I went with 2 caramel macchiatos and the young girl working had to call someone to ask how to make it. They didn’t come out great but I understand how stressful a job can be so we tipped her. We were patient and did not blame her at all. However, my concern is, to whoever is in charge: why leave a young girl who clearly doesn’t have much experience to run the place on her own?. Very unprofessional. She was the only individual in the shop."
"This is my first time coming into Bao’s today And I have got to say you guys have some of the nicest people working there. I told Dee that I’ve never been and she explained the history to me and each of your pastries and which ones people like the best so I could figure out what I wanted to purchase. The presentation of the pastries is incredible. I genuinely wanted to purchase every single thing in that place because it all looked so good. I can’t wait to try it all!"
"I ordered a custom cake for my birthday back in July, and it came out wonderfully! They were very helpful and communicative with suggestions for my cake, and gave me realistic expectations for what could be done. I ended up with a cake inspired by one of their current offerings: an almond cake with mango filling and passionfruit icing. I loved it!"
