"I worked with Theta Ridge for about 6 years before we sold our family business in 2021. My experience was wonderful. They have great customer service and were always available to answer any questions. Shipping was always fast. What was great for us was the variety of coffees and weight choices that made Theta Ridge a perfect choice for our small business. If you want 5lbs or 500lbs you can customize your orders for what you need in your shop. This allows for small businesses the opportunity to roast many varieties without the big investment of purchasing the large 150lb. bags. We were able to offer around 10 to 12 coffee origins. This would not have been possible if not for the small quantity offerings at Theta Ridge. We could also change up our offerings or bring in a special coffee to roast. The beans were always high quality and very clean. Theta Ridge is not a huge giant coffee conglomerate which allows them to be very personable with their customer service. They are very experienced and knowledgeable with the green coffee market. And they can help you grow in your knowledge. I attended a coffee cupping at their facility, and it was very helpful in my growth as roaster. They are very involved in the specialty coffee industry, and you will always see them at a variety of trade shows. They also offer origin trips to some coffee countries, although I was never able to attend one of the trips. I highly recommend Theta Ridge as a green coffee supplier."

"I am a home coffee roaster, and got my start with the purchase of a Behmor roaster and samples of green beans, that I purchased about 7 years ago from Theta Ridge. I enjoyed roasting so much, I acquired a used fire powered drum roaster that is much larger capacity. I have continued using Theta Ridge as my primary green bean supplier all these years. The price to quality/flavor ratio cannot be beat. I order 2-3 times a year in various size bags of 3 pounds and 5 pounds of 5-6 origins. "Coffee was very good and the coffee prices were reasonable. There was only one problem: the shipping. I could not find out the shipping charge during my online order and it eventually turned out to be higher than other online coffee sites. I phoned and was told that this is their system. Unfortunately, I never ordered after this, in spite of being very pleased with their green coffee. My advice: please let the customer know the price of shipping before the order is finalized. If possible, offer a reasonably price shipping option that is competitive with other coffee sites, such as Happy Mug and Burman's, where you know exactly how much shipping will cost before the order is placed."
