"I stopped by Mochi Wren recently after hearing about it from a friend and was genuinely impressed. The brown sugar boba was delicious. I also tried the strawberry sando and it tasted so fresh and light. The whole place has such a warm vibe, and the staff is incredibly sweet, which just makes the experience even better. "I’ve been really looking forward to trying this location — I’ve almost DoorDashed it a few times just to get a fruit-sam! I’m honestly glad I didn’t, because I would’ve been frustrated paying a delivery fee and nearly $38 for something that ended up feeling pretty average. We ordered a little bit of everything. The egg tart was served cold and handed to us in a tiny brown bag. The tart itself was good, but the presentation had absolutely none of the beauty or attention to detail they show online. The drinks were okay — not bad, but definitely not memorable. The associate working was polite and efficient, especially considering she seemed to be working solo, but there wasn’t much warmth or energy behind the interaction. This concept seems to be aiming for a whole “vibe,” but the in-store atmosphere didn’t match what they promote online. The display cases were empty, the presentation of items felt like an afterthought, and even what appeared to be a community board had nothing on it. Small details like this really impact the experience. Another note: there are no restrooms, which is something guests should be aware of before visiting. My suggestion to the owners would be to bring in more energy and start serving the same aesthetic and experience you showcase online. Right now, the lack of detail and low energy are definitely showing — and it’s holding the whole concept back."
