from Google"The Crêperie, tucked inside Gallery 115 at the back of the store, is the real deal. A pleasant find during our stay nearby at Clifty Inn. We made it a point to have breakfast there every day we were in town, and we know we will make a special trip here for breakfast. The Crêperie was one of the highlights of our trip. The food was nothing short of phenomenal. I started my mornings with their French Toast, made with a cinnamon swirl loaf dipped in ricotta sweet cream batter,or a Nutella Crêpe. Both were absolutely delicious, perhaps the best I've ever had. My wife equally enjoyed her choices—the Florentine Breakfast Plate and The August—both beautifully prepared and satisfying. I even had a bite of an English muffin, and yes, even that was perfectly done! I believe it was made in-house, like all of the other items prepared for us. The coffee was equally impressive. The drip coffee was rich and flavorful, and the Tiramisu Latte was a delightful treat. Pair this with excellent service, and you’ve got a breakfast experience that’s hard to beat. The ambiance of the facility was comfortable and inviting, though we did encounter a couple of very loud groups on one of the days. That aside, everything else was flawless. Be sure to explore Gallery 115 after your meal—it’s the perfect way to round out your visit. If you're in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by The Crêperie. It's an unforgettable experience for both your taste buds and your day."
"If you are ever in or by Madison and are looking for good eats you have to stop here! The food is so good and presented so well. I could rave about every item on the menu. Being from up north where we eat a lot of great food in wish we could move the creperie up north. The staff are all so wonderful and amazing. The owner Jordan has a culinary background and knows what she is doing. Everyone was Very friendly. We were visiting for four days and ate there twice. You won’t be disappointed"
"I recently visited the Creperie in Madison, Indiana, and had a mixed experience. The atmosphere was charming and cozy, with a warm and inviting decor that made me feel like I was in a quaint French cafe. The service was friendly and attentive, but the food was a bit of a letdown. The crepes were delicious, but the portion sizes were small and the prices were steep. I had the strawberry and cream crepe, which was tasty but didn't feel worth the cost. Additionally, I was overcharged for honey butter that I didn't request, and the drink sizes were tiny compared to the prices. The tea was made with a convenience store teabag rather than loose-leaf tea, which was disappointing. Furthermore, the water tasted unpleasantly hard, which affected the overall taste of my drinks. I'm not sure if it was the ice maker or the water source, but I would recommend investing in a water softener system to improve the taste. Overall, I would recommend the Creperie for its atmosphere and service, but be aware that the prices are high and the portion sizes are small. Pros: - Charming and cozy atmosphere - Friendly and attentive service - Delicious crepes Cons: - Small portion sizes - High prices - Overcharging for unrequested items - Tiny drink sizes - Low-quality tea - Unpleasantly hard water taste Tips: - Be aware of the prices and portion sizes before ordering - Double-check your order before paying to ensure accuracy - Consider asking for a larger drink size or a refill - Don't expect high-quality tea - Owner's note: Consider investing in a water softener system to improve the taste of the water. Feedback for the owner: Investing in a water softener system would greatly improve the overall dining experience. Additionally, reconsidering pricing and portion sizes, upgrading tea quality, and double-checking orders would address the main issues I encountered."
"We had the sausage and gravy biscuits and the Florentine plate. As dessert we ordered a sweet crepe and thought $50 was a bit too much, but overall, it was worth it! Everything was delicious! The place is super cute and they have two floors. If you're ever in Madison and would like to grab a bite for breakfast/brunch, check them out!"
"I had their Father’s Day special crepe with steak, burata and pesto. It was quite disappointing. On the picture it looks fantastic, but the flavor just wasn’t there.I will come back to try one of the sweet crepes, but not their savory ones."
