"Came here with family for brunch - and this place was a DREAMSCAPE for a young girl. We treated ourselves to unicorn hot chocolate, delicious sandwiches (Brie and Ham + Croque Madame - would recommend both), and the richest slice of double (maybe triple?) chocolate cake. I was most impressed by the service - our waitstaff was so attentive to the whole table, paced things perfectly (which can be tough for tables with different ages!) and was generally so friendly and accommodating. We definitely want to go back!"

"Adorable little jewel box of a cafe at which everyone is always having a birthday! The service is top notch and they will go above and beyond to make your day special. Surprisingly, we enjoyed the other offerings more than the cake itself - particularly the croissants. The drinks are also beautifully presented, both adult beverages and the special kids’ ones."

"Atmosphere and service was great! My daughter and I both ordered the soup, and had the quiche. The soup was luke warm (came with warm yummy bread!) the quiche was barley warm and then half way through the quiche it was very cold. We bought three pieces of cake to take home; the coconut, raspberry champagne & earls court chocolate. We’ve tried both raspberry and coconut, raspberry really tasted like nothing not even sweet and the coconut was good but not fantastic. It was a fun place to go to, but the food/cake is unfortunately not great."

"I really enjoyed my visit to cake bake for the most part. I love the aesthetic of the place. It’s so whimsical and fun. I’d just go back for that alone. I got the blueberry lemon cake while I was there. It was not my style of cake and your definitely playing for the novelty. I thought the crumb of the cake was alittle mealy and the I icying was really heavy. That being said it probably was just not made for my taste and I’m sure many others love that style of cake. Overall tho it was a pleasant visit and when I go again I’ll try another style of cake."

"Very fanciful. :-) The food was exceptionally good (sandwiches & soup) and the desserts are amazing. Our server was patient as we looked over the menu and very helpful when we had questions. Can’t wait to visit Indianapolis again so that we can return to the Cake Bake Shop."
