When asked about a house specialty drink, the bartender appeared uncertain, so I requested something with a brown-colored beverage, resulting in a Dusse cocktail being prepared for me. The ambiance began with music for the first ten minutes, followed by a presentation by business professionals, which, despite poor audio quality, resonated with me as a businessman exploring a new area. As I sat back and tuned in, I noticed the bartender attending to me and the relatively low patronage. The experience diverged significantly from online portrayals. Upon requesting another drink, the bartender efficiently processed the payment using a kiosk machine. Given the establishment's operating hours until 4 p.m. and my arrival at 2 p.m., with less than 30 minutes having elapsed, the service felt rushed. I paid $24 for two drinks, incurring an additional gratuity of nearly $5. Unfortunately, this $40 expenditure was underwhelming, leading me to strongly advise against recommending this venue, citing its unwelcoming atmosphere for newcomers."

"I was very disappointed with my recent experience at Paradox Lounge in Indianapolis. I ordered a strawberry mint hookah and within just a couple of puffs, it started tasting burnt. I flagged it to the server, and she kindly replaced the coal. Unfortunately, after that, the taste was even worse, harsh and burnt almost immediately. The young lady who assisted us was polite and apologetic, but at the end, when we decided to leave, she simply said, “I’m so sorry the hookah wasn’t that great,” without offering any real solution. What made it worse was that the hookah was still left on our tab. Good customer service would have been to acknowledge the issue and remove it from the bill, especially since it was clearly a poor product that we couldn’t enjoy. I hate when places overlook something so simple, because it really impacts the overall experience. I was looking forward to relaxing and enjoying the hookah, but instead left disappointed."
