The vibe is relaxed but lively—string lights, city views, and just enough buzz from the crowd to keep the energy up. Service is consistently on point: attentive without hovering, and always friendly. Food is solid—tasty, fun, and easy to share with friends. That said, if you’re hunting for clean or healthy options, you won’t really find them here. This is more of a “lean back, enjoy a drink, and treat yourself” kind of menu. All in all, a place I’d definitely recommend for an evening out. Go for the atmosphere and service—you’ll leave with good memories."

"I was visiting Evansville for a work conference and I placed an online order for 4 people. I decided to walk to pick up our order. When I arrived I was greeted and felt welcomed. The place was clean and I was able to see into the kitchen from where I sat at the bar. I asked the waitress if I could change 1 order to fish because it wasn't on the online menu. She changed it with a smile. My food was freshly cooked. I didn't get to take a picture because I had to hurry and eat before I started working again. I definitely recommend this place!!"

"100% honest review. Nice atmosphere, but the place was completely dead the night we went, just the two of us in the whole restaurant. Service was solid. The food was very hit or miss. The poutine? Amazing. Fried cheese curds were on point, easily the highlight of the meal. The entrées, though… not good. I ordered the brisket Manhattan. It had zero texture — just mushy, and the “brisket” barely existed. Maybe I’ve spent too much time in Texas, but this wasn’t brisket, and there might’ve been an ounce of meat on the plate. My wife had the Chicken on the Beach, and wow… dry. Clearly cooked earlier and reheated. Microwave dry. Would we come back? Maybe. That poutine was legit, so they’re doing something right — just not the entrées."

"A highly recommend food stop in downtown Evansville! The service was great, and the food was out of this world delicious. Everything was so unique! Chicken on the beach pizza is a Mexican twist on pizza. You might think that the Rooftop Smash burger is “just another burger and fries”, but I can honestly say it’s one of the best I’ve had in a long time. The rooftop sauce really kicked the burger up a notch, and the fries have an amazing seasoning on them. Almost like, brown sugar? Don’t knock them until you try them! This cocktail features rum, pineapple juice, lime juice, and cream of coconut. Such a nice drink before or after your meal. Definitely try to stop by and give the Rooftop a try!"

"All was good! There were 14 in our group. Everyone seemed very pleased with their food. The sampler appitizers was great. That big pretzel was very good, warm and great dipping sauce. The fresh made hot potato chips were great as were the seasoned fries."
