from Google"I had breakfast at Frankie’s Restaurant this morning with my church family, and it was a great experience overall. The waitresses and waiters did an excellent job taking care of a large crowd early in the morning, which I really appreciated. I ordered the meat omelet, which comes with two sides. I chose hash browns and a biscuit. The omelet itself was really good and well-cooked, but I felt they went a little light on the hash browns and could have served more. In hindsight, I probably should have chosen better sides, so that part was on me. The service was excellent, the prices were moderate, and while I didn’t get quite as much food as I expected, it’s still a great restaurant for breakfast. I’d definitely go back."
"Our first visit ever and was surprised to find this hidden gem. I had country fried steak and was soooo good. The green beans were seasoned perfectly with onions and bacon, and the Cole slaw was amazing. It was a mix of sweet and tangy. The star of the show was the home made (in house) Strawberry Cheesecake! The crust was fresh and crunchy, not soggy. We will definitely go back and bring family and friends. Sooooo glad we found this place!"
"Don't let the small strip mall location fool you, this place is a Wow! It has been a while since I my last epic dining experience. However, Frankie's Restaurant made sure I had one more before the year ended. I stopped in for dinner on the last Monday of 2025. Had they been open on Tuesdays, I would have come back three more times, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Wow, what a meal! It was a cold and windy evening, so I started with the small chicken soup. Perfect, but I don't see how that was a small. Bigger than any small soup I ever had. And in the top 10% for flavor. I'm a chicken noodle soup connoisseur and I could have this one on repeat! Great flavor, plenty of chicken, delicious. Usually I like to add salt and fresh ground black pepper to my soup, but this one didn't need anything. Almost thought about having another until I flipped over the menu and found sushi galore! Had no idea they had fresh sushi. However, not being a fan of sushi, I did see one of my favorites among the huge selection of options, eggrolls! Yes please! Eggrolls following chicken soup. Yes! Two of the fattest egg rolls I've seen. The crispy texture of the exterior, the fresh vegetables inside, wonderful! Exquisitely fried and dipped in the sweet and sour sauce, I was in heaven. I would have these every visit. And might just get some if passing by to go. Ok, entrée time. It was a serious debate, however, I was swayed by the staff to go for the Apple Bourbon Pork Chop. The menu says "A gorgeous pan-seared pork chop served with whipped mashed potatoes and fresh broccoli, accompanied by a bourbon Granny Smith apple sauce." And it was, in fact, gorgeous. I had two take two photos before I took a bite to send to a friend just to make him drool with jealousy. Perfectly seared, presentation was awesome. And then the flavor! It was hard not to eat all the apple bourbon sauce before I even took a bite of the pork chop. But making sure the sauce was in each bite of the chop; I managed to do it, barely. Wonderful. It would be a tough choice to not have this again. But the rest of the menu looked equally delicious. The mashed potatoes were creamy, smooth, lots of flavor. And they were the mop I used to make sure I didn't miss any of the remaining sauce left on the plate. That plate was clean. Service by Jose and Alex was excellent. Appropriately attentive, professional and very friendly making sure I enjoyed my meal and everything was perfect. They beamed with pride, seeing how much I enjoyed my meal. Thank you, gentlemen! You provided an epic dining experience for me and for that I am grateful. I will cherish the the memories of this meal for a long time to come. Thank you!"
"Breakfast skillets are filling and fresh made to order, any type of food all.day lunch, breakfast, or dinner. Trunks choices are endless. Staff is very well presented, curious, and prompt. Meal prices are moderate. Just off the main road yet easy to get to. Well worth a try with family and friends."
"Frankie's has become my go-to for several reasons. When I tell you they make and serve your food with love, its true. They are the only place in town who make chilaquiles, a comfort food I order when I miss home. I swear the staff are artists with food. I actually take pics of my food and drinks when I come here, because they are so skilled at creating some really cool items. I do have favorite staff (Marcela, Henry, and Jose are my go-to peeps), since I come here so often, I've become one of their regulars, but they are all truly wonderful. Frankie prides himself in keeping an ever-evolving menu, which breaks up the monotony of the typical Evansville food experience. Keep up the great work!"
