What People Are Saying
from Google"We went on the train ride, fed the animals. All in all a great time. The Cafe was a disappointment. We had one order in front of us. We got smoothies and cakes. It took 24 minutes to get them. The Rockslide brownie was dry. Very disappointing. The carrot cake was good, as were the smoothies. The prices were crazy expensive. The whole place is quaint. So many decorative ideas! I actually bought a fruit tree and got it in our car! There is a tiny play ground and photo opportunities. The macaws were friendly and talkative. Would definitely recommend."
"Ok, here it goes. I'm going to do a pros and cons list below first. *PROS* - entry is free - beautiful - fun - free petting zoo/ animal viewing area - cafe if you need a snack Good photo opportunities - amazing gift shop with gorgeous things for sale and viewing. *CONS* - the train costs money - the mining cost money - the prices in the gift shop are high - most extra things you're able to do so have a cost. - Some of the features were not open or misleading. All that being said, it is a great experience. You will have fun for an hour or so and make some memories with your family or friends, which in the end is what it is all about, right.. I feel it is definitely worth a trip to see it and enjoy it."
"It's a beautiful facility and everything very well maintained and the staff was friendly. The train was very well done - extremely well made and a nice feature for kids. However, we went as a family with young children and everywhere you looked, including the entire route of the train ride, there were extremely ghoulish halloween decorations. At a place like this I expect cute pumpkin/Fall decor (which they had as well), but this place featured horror from the moment you enter the gift shop. The pumpkin patch was surrounded by mummified body parts. There were skeletons everywhere and elaborate ghoulish displays, including realistic figures hanging from nooses along the children's train route. (Really upsetting if you have someone with suicide history in their family, among other things.) My young children went around the place shielding their eyes to not be scared. Sadly I can't recommend this to families or as a school trip."
"My sister and I were there for about 3 hrs. Even had lunch. Awesome place"
"It's... okay. Selection is decent, and walking around is really fun! My ratings are as follows: Customer Service: 4/10 *we had to find help when we needed it, and despite passing by several employees, we were never once greeted in any way ** When we came back to pick up our tree, the person loading it broke several branches, and what I got was an "oops. Hope that 'crack' didnt break anything" I was UPSET. The employee was unbothered. Pricing: 3/10- lord, y'all, everything is SO expensive here. Pricing is NOT comparible to other nurseries. Not even my favorite amish place is priced this high. Overall- a really fun place to visit, nut I am unlikely to make large or frequent purchases here."
