"SIP’S Coffee House located in Cedar Lake, IN is an awesome stop. I visited recently and wish I had sooner. It is very much reminiscent of TV’s “Friends” .. a great place to relax and hang out with a book, computer, mocha & good company. This venue is whimsical & inviting with plenty of colorful chairs, velvet sofa or cozy nooks to choose from. I had a hard time deciding where to sit! Once settled in I ordered regular coffee w (free refills) & chicken w goat cheese wrap. It was delicious. There is a nice sized menu to choose from and many pastries & sweets if you choose. The service is very good, clean & atmosphere will relax the best of us. I wish that there were more venues that offered this refreshing take on a coffee stop. I would recommend SIPS when you are near Cedar Lake, IN for breakfast or lunch. They do close by 4 p.m. I am not affiliated with this business & is my personal opinion/review."

"Our first time visiting a SIP coffee house. The food was really good. We had ice tea and hot tea- both breakfast blend and they were both really good. Our waitress did a great job. We felt full but not heavy from the food. We will definitely be back!"

"This place is cute. Love that they were able to make it feel eclectic. Food was good as always. Avocado was a little brown so my daughter didn’t end up eating her toast but overall good. Good service as well. They sell tea so you’d think they would have lemon and honey available, but they didn’t have either. I find that a little odd but over all a good experience and different food. I’d recommend giving it a try. Their lattes are quite good as well. I’d recommend trying the bananas foster."

"My first visit here and it did not disappoint! Great location right across from the lake! Inside is very spacious with a great look about it. Both girls at the counter were very welcoming! I am a lover of good strong flavored coffee so they recommend the dark roast drip! Kendall offered to brew a fresh pit as it was around 10:30 am as she said it was towards the bottom and she did not want me getting a bad cup! That was so appreciated and excellent customer service from her!! The coffee was perfect!! Great staff and great dark roast!! I Will be back!!"
