from Google"Good vibe. It’s not exactly out of the way but it’s located off of the main roads which makes it feel a little more intimate. The baristas are all university students. They’re open until 5 but the kitchen closes at 3. I had the loaded hummus toast, a rainbow cookie, and a green rooibos tea. The hummus toast was just one piece of toast but actually pretty substantial with lots of hummus. I was actually pretty impressed with this. All the toppings and the hummus went together really well. The cookie was a classic soft sugar cookie with rainbow sprinkles, nostalgic. The tea was also good quality. I don’t think I’ve seen green rooibos at a coffee shop before so I was happy to have it here."
"What do you need at a university town? Bookstores? Maybe. Educational institutions? Probably. Bars and coffee shops? Absolutely! Filling the need for a quality coffee shop just off the Indiana University campus, surrounded by fraternity and sorority houses, is the Inkwell. It has a suitably bohemian, vegan, alternative lifestyle vibe while still being welcoming to the larger community. Prices are quite reasonable, as perhaps befits a coffee shop just off a college campus. On the downside, my chai latte was tasty, nicely spiced but not as hot as I would have hoped. Pro Tip There are a couple of tables at which to enjoy your coffee outside the shop along Atwater Road, a nice place to people-watch and enjoy the weather."
"4 baristas in the front, 2 in the kitchen. No other customers. 10 minutes for 2 lattes, 1 incorrect. Go to Hopscotch!! 1 lady walked in at 2:59pm & they couldn't serve her! Weird business model!!"
"I love the inkwell! discovered this spot second semester and i have been a fan since. the owner and the team is always so warm and welcoming, beyond the amazing coffee and carrot muffin. there’s a million reasons for this place to be your favorite cafe!"
"I love coming here but the barista working was extremely extremely rude. I was ordering a simple drink and she literally looked so angry and had the worst tone. It kind of just ruined the experience. This is probably the first review I’ve ever written but I feel like it needs to be mentioned because if I’m paying 8 dollars for a matcha I feel like I should at least get service from someone who doesn’t look like they think I’m stupid or something."
