"If u r ever passing thru this area… be sure to spend some time in Trinidad. Cute little town, cute down town area. Good place to stretch ur legs and this restaurant is a great place to get a bite to eat and have a drink. Staff is very nice and helpful. Highly recommend!"

"Las Animas Grill is an oasis in a dry and empty desert. Super rad spot in a funky town with a penchant for home style American food. Feels classic. The staff were great. I watched one of the guys give a homeless lady a bottled drink when she couldn’t afford it. Class act. Things just got better. I got “Christmas” fries - red ANd green salsa on it with a burger. Burger was rad but the fries were incredible. I also enjoyed the Brussel sprout with maple and bacon. I was stoked to find that on the menu!! The building is old and decorated to perfection. It’s got a classic American vibe that’s hard not to enjoy. If you’re passing through- stop here!!"

"Very nice small town upscale style restaurant. (see below inside/bar area pic) Not alot of seating. Food was delicious. Fries had a nice seasoning on them. I had the BBQ chicken wrap (see below pic)."

"This place has a fabulous owner who treats every guest as family! The food is to die for- or worse- go celibate for. You gotta get The Maple Bourbon Brussels Sprouts. Try the specials, you can't go wrong with Truffle Fry's. OMG! Will drive 4 hours from Texas for these Fry's & Sprouts!"

"Stayed at this location on a softball trip to Trinidad. Breakfast was super yummy, Denver scramble. Coffee was fantastic. Service was outstanding. Jay came out from the grill and asked how our food was! Extremely personal and friendly atmosphere! Highly recommend this fun hidden gem!"
