What People Are Saying
from Google"Alfred Packer omelet rocks, a fave or mine. My friend got their chicken fried steak, and loved it. Great food and atmosphere! A must visit when in Summit County!"
"We came here the day after we got married in Breckenridge and absolutely fell in love with the place. The food, the staff, and the atmosphere are all stellar. I got the salmon plate and it was so good that I ordered it the next three times we visited. My husband did the same with the “cake and eggstras.” I think this is officially “our place” now ❤️ Update: There’s a waitress there named Ashley that was FANTASTIC. My coffee cup literally never emptied completely and she was insanely accommodating for my special dietary needs."
"As a local I have been frequenting Sunshine for a couple decades. It is my go to destination for quality food and excellent service from wonderful people. Like all breakfast destinations in Summit it can get extremely busy, but they always keep things moving and never fail to deliver on the service and food. This is truly the best that Summit has to offer."
"I arrived at noon on a Monday and there was a 40 min wait. It appeared busy which was surprising for a weekday. My one child ordered the child’s oatmeal. There wasn’t any fresh fruit but just a side of brown sugar and raisins. It tasted off so my daughter only had a few bites. It seemed expensive for what it was worth. I ordered egg omelet with spinach, mushrooms and avocado. It came with a side of hash browns. They were cold and the whole omelette also cold. The edges were so dried out it was crusted. So, it was clearly sitting out for a long time. The mushrooms looked like they came from a can and were soaked with oil. Not a single piece of spinach was in the omelet. To top it off there was a long black hair on the top of the eggs. I have blonde hair. I didn’t complain but probably should have. I asked for a side of salsa and it was in a small plastic cup about 2 oz and I was charged $2. My friend recommended this place but she said she hasn’t been there in a long time. Save your $, super overpriced for what the quality is. Staff seemed friendly but very rushed. Then the card reader had 28% tip already pushed. Sad that restaurant prices keep rising and the quality keeps declining."
"Good meal, though it didn’t live up to the reviews I had read. I’m kinda sorry I spent $9 on the cinnamon roll. It was served warm - a huge plus - but was a bit doughy. Another big plus was the smaller size plates option (2 egg omelets instead of 3 egg), with a slightly lower price. My spinach, onion, and cheese omelet was made with fresh spinach (good) but the potatoes were not at all flavorful. My husband really liked his breakfast burrito. We ended up spending $58 for breakfast for 2 (even though I chose the smaller option) - which seems high to me."
