What People Are Saying
from Google"The Good, the Bad and the Ugly of BlueBird Market (Silverthorne, CO) This is my second time coming to Blue Bird Market from far far away. Why? The cheesecake. Period. The cheesecake is so good it makes you do that face — you know the one. The “I shouldn’t be enjoying this in public” face. Now, here’s the thing about businesses: It’s not just the product. It’s not just the place. It’s the people. And this place, for me, has all three faces of the classic movie: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly. The Good: The cheesecake. And honestly, several other products are solid. The Bad: The lack of human service. Not rude — just… absent. Like customer service took a coffee break in 2009 and never came back. The Ugly: When a customer is already standing there wallet open, dopamine ready and nobody says, “Hey, if you like that, you should try this.” I’ve been to a lot of places around the world, and one thing never changes: People love recommendations ( I do). Especially from local ones. Especially the “trust me, this is the good stuff” kind. A drink. A dessert. Something that actually represents the place. Instead, silence. So yeah, I’ll still enjoy the cheesecake this is my second time buying it, after all. But next time, I might have to ask the question myself: “Can you recommend something that’s actually worth trying?” Until then I totally recommend the cheesecake. Just don’t expect a conversation to come with it."
"Had the pizza 🍕 at Melody’s Trattoria. Absolutely horrible. Nothing positive to say about it. The sauce tasted like Ragu, cheese was below average, and the dough felt like a cheap flatbread cracker. Solid score of 0/10. My wife and I ate one slice and threw this pizza in the place it should’ve have been from the start….the trash. I should also point out that it was incredibly overpriced…$15 for a 10”. See the picture of this masterpiece below. Looks like a cheap frozen Totino’s Pizza. Also had a BBQ Bacon cheeseburger 🍔 at Chef Daddy’s Grill, honestly the burger wasn’t bad, fries were decent….but again way overpriced. $24 and included no drink. My opinion is that there are much better options for food in the area. You’re mostly paying for the atmosphere when you come to this place. Buy a drink and eat somewhere else."
"If you’re undecided what restaurant to go, this is your spot! So many food options, ramen, pizza, icecream, fried chicken, sandwiches and more! Perfect for family who have different food choices. So delish! Didn’t got enough photos coz we eat the food right away haha delish and great stop!"
"Avoid Ginger Palace - Chinese food Since there is no way to review the restaurants on Google. The market itself is great overall but Ginger Palace I would recommend avoiding. Summary: large quantities of very poor quality food. You’re better off with a grocery store Chinese frozen dinner. I went with the $24 for the Mongolian beef, white rice, onions, garlic, peppers, mushrooms and the sesame sauce. The rice was mushy, the flavor was bland, and the meat was cooked nice and tough. Felt less like a dish cooked together and more of ingredients they put on top of each other in a bowl and covered with a sauce."
"I bring the family back every year, the kids love the Playgarten and the Pizza. The new addition Ginger Palace is amazing! My wife and I loved the variety and created our own rice bowls, we also shared some sushi and crab rangoons. Definitely recommend this market! We will be back again!"
