"Just about a half block south of main Street lies the Milky Way. Food was delicious. Very reasonably priced. How the wait staff seem perturbed we were there. Perhaps they were stressed out because of the peach festival happening."

"I love this place, very unique atmosphere and super chill. Everyone is very friendly, the vibe is very welcoming, and the coffee is excellent. Their food is just as good and is absolutely worth getting for a quick lunch/breakfast/dinner/whatever! I’ll always recommend this place to anyone who visits, it’s very conveniently located with easy access to parking. There’s comfortable interior seating with a patio out back for hanging out, and the front seating is perfect to enjoy the local events always happening in Palisade. Absolutely worth a visit."

"Love the small town ambiance here and locally in Palisades CO. Have frequented Milky Way on our way to second home in GJT. Food is always tasty, healthy and affordable. Peach season around September being my fav time with their peach ice cream and other peachy treats. The back patio also has a wonderfully soothing ambiance. 👍"

"On a beautiful Sunday, my daughter and I decided to treat ourselves and stopped into The Milky Way for the first time. What a charming little spot! The front sitting area and storefront have a retro and charming vibe, and the place is impeccably kept. We were greeted with warm smiles the moment we walked in. The staff were incredibly friendly and offered us samples of gelato until we found the perfect flavor to satisfy our cravings. The shop also has an array of unique gifts and trinkets, including some cleverly displayed in a vending machine. While I didn’t try the coffee this time, their menu looked impressive, featuring a variety of options and a great selection of loose leaf teas. I’m definitely looking forward to coming back and trying those out. My favorite part (besides the engaging personalities of the staff) was the beautiful sitting area behind the store. Gorgeous planters well appointed, a gazebo, and many other sitting options; it was the perfect spot to savor our gelato and soak up some sunshine. The Milky Way is a gem in Palisade, and I can’t wait to return to explore more of what they have to offer!"
