What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"Just a short while ago they had a sign posted that said we will no longer have a tip prompt so customers don’t feel pressured, instead we will give our employees a pay raise and raise our prices slightly to support this… today I went in and they had a sign saying gratuity is shared with all employees and the tip prompt is back. Did you cut your employees pay? Did you drop your prices? Why the sudden change back? I’m a little disappointed and confused with these moves. $24 for two bagel sandwiches and still expect a tip? Might explore different options now. P.S. why aren’t there stickers anymore? Corporate greed and profits over customers"
"Really, really, really disappointed with my recent experience at Moe’s. Normally their bagels are great and I would so much rather pay the money there than some huge chain like Panera. However, spending 30 bucks on two bagels and a drink and getting what I did is enough to convince me to not go back. Firstly, the service was horrible. I ordered online pickup and waited for 15 minutes next to the counter for my order because they had it behind the counter and refused to acknowledge me. I tried to be respectful because they were busy and in the weeds but after waiting for so long and seeing four of the workers all huddled around the ovens, I had to flag them down just so I could go. Second, they gave the wrong chips. Not a big deal but after waiting so long, it was annoying. Third, and most importantly, the Rueben I ordered was disgraceful and laughable. Compared to what they advertise it as on their website (and what I paid for) what I got was just sad. If I wanted overpriced, low quality bagels I’d just go to Panera guys.."
"I’ll start with the compliment, because there is one: if you’re looking for a plain, no-frills bagel, this place will get the job done. A basic bagel? Fine. Mission accomplished. However, the moment you ask for anything beyond that—especially a breakfast sandwich—you’ve wandered into dangerous territory. Adding cheese became a group discussion. We were asked multiple times whether we wanted bacon or just eggs, as if this were a philosophical question rather than a standard breakfast order. The real dealbreaker, though, is this: you are a breakfast spot that cannot make egg whites. Let that sink in. One of the simplest, most common breakfast requests… unavailable. To top it off, the breakfast sandwich we did receive was wrong, and the bagels that were supposed to be sliced and toasted somehow managed to be neither. It’s a simple operation, folks. Bottom line: good for a plain bagel if expectations are kept low. For breakfast sandwiches or anything involving customization, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere."
"MAKE SURE TO CHECK YOUR FOOD!! Ordered a bagel with Salmon on it and they gave me a bagel with egg instead with onions and tomatoes and jalapeños! Paid $15 for an egg bagel with cream cheese, not sure how you mess it up that bad. Ironically the gentleman in front of me in line was getting on them for messing up his bagel multiple times. If they make it up I’ll delete my review!"
"Amazing food, always loved this place. I noticed today that there was no tip option when I was checking out. The staff is so nice so I asked why, they said, “oh we don’t do tips, everyone just got a raise instead” How awesome is that?!"
"I really enjoy this place for their breakfast woodsman deal that they have. Their breakfast bagels are always very satisfying and I like the variety they..."
