We had the cafe cubano, choco-latte, wa’iim bowl, pane con ouvo, and a guava cheese empanada. There are lots of gluten free options and all kinds of unique menu items. Highly recommend giving it a try!"

"Wow! What an absolute gem of a place. The owner and her daughter are so wonderful. You can really feel the passion she has for empowering women and her commitment to sharing the hard work and stories of Guatemalan growers. Every coffee they serve is a single origin. My iced coffee was so delicious I literally licked the lid that had remnants of foam on it and the blueberry empanada was out of this world. Warm, gooey, not too sweet. This is one of the best places in not just Longmont, but in Colorado."

"I stopped into Chi Kapé for lunch and left genuinely moved. I ordered a Cuban coffee, a Cuban sandwich, and the Wa’iim Bowl. The coffee was smooth and balanced, no bitterness, just rich flavor. The Cuban sandwich nailed the essentials: tender, well-seasoned pork, ham, Swiss, and that perfect mustard-pickle tang. The Wa’iim Bowl delivered pure comfort with vibrant toppings that tied it all together. What set the experience apart was Esly. Her passion for quality is obvious, and it translates directly to what’s on the plate and in the cup. Hearing her story while tasting food that honors her roots brought me to tears, in the best way. Friends told me to visit for the food, and I discovered a shop full of unique gift items, too. Chi Kapé recently moved behind the 7‑Eleven at Main & 17th—1680 Main St., Longmont and it’s absolutely worth the stop. This is the Caribbean and Central American comfort food I’ve been trying to find in Colorado. Places like this are why Longmont is special. Highly recommended."
