"I ordered a gelato birthday cake online for my husband's birthday, and when I arrived at the shop to pick it up, I was told the order had been missed. Fortunately, the owner, Dean, was there. He immediately took responsibility for the oversight and promised to have the baker make the cake right away. Less than an hour later, he personally delivered the finished cake to my home. He even offered extra gelato for me to try as a gesture of goodwill. The customer service was truly superb. Dean went above and beyond to find a solution and make sure I left happy, even though the mistake was on their end. I was relieved he happened to be in the shop when I arrived, because it allowed me to head home and simply wait for the delivery instead of returning later. As for the gelato—absolutely delicious. It was incredibly smooth and creamy, and not overly sweet like many other places. The cake I ordered was a combination of pistachio and stracciatella, and the flavors complemented each other beautifully. It was unique, refreshing, and a hit at the celebration. Despite the initial hiccup, the experience turned into a very positive one thanks to exceptional service and fantastic gelato. My husband was very pleased and happy with the cake and the overall experience, and he said that we will go to that shop from now on to order any ice cream, desserts, birthday cakes, and so on."
