What People Are Saying
from Google & Yelp"Good old fashioned down home cooking! My husband got the biscuits and gravy and said they were the best cathead biscuits and savory gravy he's had in a long time. I had the Salmon & Eggs Benedict. Huge portions."
"Exactly what you want from a mountain town diner, great food, warm service, and a coffee mug that stays filled to the brim. Highly recommend the pork green chili (on anything)!"
"Visited Rooster's Crow Cafe for breakfast and had a delightful experience. We arrived at 7:30 AM and found plenty of open seating, though I noticed it got busier after 8:00 AM—so arriving early is a good strategy. One standout feature was their reduced price menu available from 6:00 to 8:00 AM. It offered a variety of options, making it an appealing choice for early risers. We ordered the egg and meats breakfast and the pancake breakfast, both of which were delicious. The portions were generous and well-prepared. To top it off, we couldn't resist getting two donuts to go, which were just as satisfying. Overall, it was a very positive experience. I highly recommend Rooster's Crow Cafe for a great start to your day!"
"Everything was perfect. Had the biscuits and gravy plus with hash browns. 10/10"
"We decided to choose this since it seemed reasonably priced for here in town compared to its competitors, well that’s the first thing you need to check because they have outdated menus floating around on the internet. We got there and it was cold inside, they had space heaters trying to heat up the room, what we originally went there for was about 50% more expensive than we expected with many breakfast plates being at $16+ which still seems reasonable if portions make sense. However after getting a skillet and a breakfast favorite for 8.95$ and 14.50$ we couldn’t be more underwhelmed at how disappointing the plates were. The skillet is about 5-6” wide and less than 2” deep, very little food in there. The cheaper plate was to be expected to be a smaller portion, yet still so underwhelming. It was a scoop of frozen hash browns with an egg and a tiny piece of toast. I have been local for 10 years and will not come back here, if your gonna drop 15+ on a breakfast plate go to Jan’s and get you Something that’s more worth it or any coffee shop or food truck. I left feeling ripped off and extremely disappointed. Side note the waiters were really good and sweet. They did nothing wrong."
"Second time five years apart .. the hot coco is still the best. The pancakes are still huge. Everything seemed good. But the place felt tired. So just..."
