"This is the second time I tried the prodigal sampler (50g*3). The first time back in last Dec, selection is just fine but at least the quality of the beans is pretty good. Thing’s gone ridicules this time. First, I received 3 bags all in past roast dates (2 weeks+), what they say in the description is one just time to drink and 2 need a bit more waiting time. Worked exactly what they say the first time but not this time. Second, bean quality of Vinka anaerobic washed Sidra as attached video. Can hardly pick enough to make even one cup. Aren’t you sending out the one’s supposed to go to the dumpster? The regular packed Finca San Antonio washed Geisha is fine. I’d warn anyone wanna try the sampler, it appears more like a way to get rid of low quality/out-dated beans rather than getting to know the taste of Prodigal. Their regular packed beans seems to be fine so far base on my experience but the sampler is the worst I have ever tried among the major roasters in North America."

"On a colorado vacation and HAD to stop by Prodigal Coffee. A little off the beaten path, stashed away in a warehouse space, Prodigal is AMAZING. Had a wonderful time. Met some great coffee people and had some really nice coffee conversations. A wonderful experience"

"Wow, best coffee I’ve tried in a long time. Love that you can buy both the roasted and green version of a coffee to better understand your home roasting abilities. It’s also awesome that you can select the roast date. Mark is a very knowledgeable and friendly roaster, excited to try more origins!"
