"What an amazing find! This neighborhood gem has organic coffee, grown in Ethiopia and all sorts of delicious treats that aren’t loaded with sugar. I chose an egg sandwich with avocado which is delicious but wish that I could have their homemade crispy donut called pasti. A very kind and friendly woman made everything herself! Even the washroom has the softest toilet tissue and a framed message that all should take to heart. I included it in the pictures. Lucy’s Coffee house resembles a community center for those who appreciate organic coffee, delicious food and a warm atmosphere to use your laptop or talk with friends. I actually broke down, got a pasti and am so happy that I did. It has an amazingly perfect texture: crispy outside and heavenly taste! Come quickly because they do sell out of the pastis!"

"A truly beautiful Ethiopian café. The space is thoughtfully designed with a colorful painted mural, elegant furniture, and warm decorative touches that create a welcoming atmosphere. The air smells rich and inviting, and every detail feels intentional. We ordered the Ethiopian macchiato, which was incredibly delicious—rich, smooth, and full of flavor. The owner explained how he makes the blend to highlight the fruity notes of Ethiopian coffee, and it really came through in the cup. He was very charismatic and warm, taking time to talk with us. It’s one of the most aesthetically pleasing and well-designed coffee shops I’ve ever visited—a wonderful place to relax, connect, and enjoy."

"I am always looking for a new place to eat and because this was local and had a 4.8 rating, I decided to try it. They do not service any type of meat products and are vegetarian, not Vegan. The menu was a bit confusing, but did the best I could. There is only one person working here. The cashier, the cook and management etc.. was one person. I asked for scrambled eggs, with onion, mushrooms and green peppers and American Cheese. I asked if it came with bread, she points to a cheap showcase on the left. I said let me have a bagel, the everything one. I sat down and when my order was ready she called out my name. The omelette was completely something else, but I was hungry. It came it two pieces of hard toast, but I ordered a bagel because I didn't know I would be getting bread. There was no salt or black pepper on the table or anywhere else. I asked if I can get, confused, she returns with a small bowl of salt and the actual store bought black pepper container she probably used to cook with, grease and all. I barely finished the omelette, the bagel was store bought frozen and was barely toast and it was dry. The coffee was good. Will I give this place a second chance, probably not. What's interesting, it seems they have been in business for sometime, maybe I happened to come on a bad day?"

"Found Lucy Coffee House after our red eye from Anchorage - what a find! The coffee was so smooth. Micki, the owner, made our drinks himself, and you can tell he takes real pride in his work right down to the beans that he roasts himself. The place had this perfect rustic charm and great atmosphere with a beautiful cultural vibe. That was exactly what we were looking for after flying all night. Even though we were just passing through, we felt genuinely welcome. This is exactly why local spots beat chains. We tried to stop back on our way to Denver but couldn't wait for them to open. Definitely recommend!"

"We loved this shop! My friend and I stopped in for a treat and a pick-me-up after we landed in Denver and got exactly what we needed. The atmosphere was so pleasant and clean. Service was prompt and the coffee was delicious. They roast their own Ethiopian beans and my friend and I both got the Ethiopian macchiatos, SUPERB. Beautiful baked goods as well (the almond danish really hit the spot)."
