What People Are Saying
from Google"We stopped by for a takeout lunch, and compared to the steep restaurant prices in Aspen, it felt like a relief. Clark’s Market is a full supermarket, with free parking available at the front—very convenient. Toward the back of the store, there’s a live food counter offering everything from fried burritos and deli sandwiches to mac ‘n’ cheese, brisket varieties, and pizzas. Most items are priced by weight, so you can grab just what you want. Bottled and canned drinks are available, and there are outside tables if you want to eat on-site. A convenient, tasty, and budget-friendly option in Aspen—definitely worth a stop for lunch."
"Incredibly high quality local market with a mix of standard factory-produced favorites and good organic fare. Fairly busy even in the off season, clearly a favorite among both locals and visitors. Weird obsession with Fiji water, tells you something about the clientele eh? :)"
"Great grocery store with large selection and excellent service mostly by young people from overseas who have come to work in the US. They sell prepared sandwiches, sushi, pizza and salads for a cheap lunch. There's also an ice cream shop on site as well as fresh coffee. Probably the cheapest place to get a meal in Aspen. Also, conveniently located in center with picnic tables nearby."
"Clark's Market in Aspen is one of the two choices of grocery stores that Aspen Colorado has to offer. Clark's has very good hot food every day, the prices are a bit high but it is Aspen Colorado a beautiful resort mountain town so you better expect to pay more."
"Saw a mouse in the aisle of the grocery store and informed the staff. They looked at me and then asked whether I wanted to look for the rodent. The employee was unbothered and acted as if this was a common occurrence. Disturbing experience overall and would caution folks from buying fresh produce (or anything) since there is a lack of care, hygiene, and cleanliness."
