"My wife and I came here to eat and it was truly one of the best dining experiences we’ve had. From the moment we arrived, everything felt welcoming and well thought out. Colten was our server, and he made the experience exceptional — he was very personable, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful. He took the time to explain the menu, gave great recommendations, and made us feel taken care of without ever being intrusive. The food, atmosphere, and service all came together perfectly. We’ll definitely be coming back, and we’ll be asking for Colten specifically. Highly recommend Morning Story."

"Officially taking this place off our rotation of breakfast spots. Not only have they increased their prices exponentially over the past couple of years (every time, it's new menus and higher prices), but now they sneak in a hefty surcharge for using a credit card to pay. They stopped carrying Splenda for the coffee and stopped offering cottage cheese as a side. Paying 25 bucks a person for coffee and breakfast (literally - final bill for two people, 50 dollars, with surcharges, tax, and tip) is crazy when I couldn't even get what I wanted. Burnt-tasting coffee, cold sad eggs, burnt bacon hard as a rock, and a very generic waffle. I could have done this at home for under 3 dollars. And I would have had Splenda for my coffee. (The server told me, "We only have the blue packets now." Yuck.) I've noticed the longtime servers here have started moonlighting at other breakfast restaurants. We'll happily follow them there, and Morning Story moves into the "never again, until they fix all this garbage" category. Used to be a great restaurant. What a shame."

"I had a 10/10 excellent experience at Morning Story in Arvada. The breakfast was absolutely delicious. I ordered the Chicken and Waffles. I also had the Romesco Eggs Benedict, which was perfectly cooked, I added bacon to it and it was a great addition to it. The mimosa flight was amazing. David the manager and staff ensured I was properly serviced. Colton was my waiter and was very attentive. The restaurant also has a nice patio to sit outside at and enjoy your meal. I will certainly be returning to Morning Story with my friends and family."

"Had such a lovely experience today with my partner at Morning Story! Staff was all super nice. At 9:15 there was no wait time and we got seated immediately. Coffee was excellent! As my partner and I ordered we mentioned we were going to share our meals and would like an extra plate….. then the meals came out split already! Was super helpful and a sweet gesture of our server and kitchen team! Would recommend the French toast with the cinnamon butter topping. Will definitely be back."
