from Google & Yelp"This was a true gem to enjoy after being on the sand dunes all day. Made reservations for later in the evening but the rain prevented us from enjoying golden hour on the dunes so we called to change our reservation time which was no issue. We felt fully immersed and thrown back in time enjoying our dinner in this old parish hall. The decorations for Halloween were so enjoyable as well. The food was to die for and reasonably priced for what we got. Splurge on the roasted garlic for bread or adding to your dish! We got the fettuccine Alfredo and four cheese ravioli and both dishes were delicious. We went next door to the Sanctuary and enjoyed a glass of port and spiked hot chocolate. Such a cool experience with excellent service. Check this place out if you are in the area or coming from the dunes!"
"Wow, it was just amazing! Very nice presentation, tasty salad, and delicious duck with ravioli. They also know something simple but important — how to brew tea! For the first time in three years, my tea was not overbrewed in a restaurant. The staff were very friendly but not annoying 😅 This is exactly the kind of restaurant I want to visit for a $50 check. Amazing."
"Fantastic lamb dish! The seasonal salad was great. And the bread with dip was beyond good. Truly amazing dinner. At the sanctuary I had a fantastically made “ Last word”."
"Such a stunning spot the place once served as a church, and now it offers a warm, inviting setting for a meal. The team was kind and attentive, and the Italian dishes were fantastic after a long day exploring the Sand Dunes. Even the side salads were fresh and full of flavor. A wonderful experience all around."
"Outstanding service, food and atmosphere! We sat outside on a beautiful summer night. The courtyard is quiet and beautifully decorated. Our waitress was amazing. She was attentive and responsive to any requests. Drinks were amazing. Strong and tasted amazing. We order the crab cakes for an appetizer and let me tell you some of the best crab cakes I've ever had! The outside was crisp, the inside was well seasoned, tender and full of crab! For our entrees we had the special which was a pesto pasta with shrimp and an array of vegetables. Absolutely amazing! I ordered the lasagna and while it wasn't heavy of meat it was very flavorful and the portion was large. Overall if you're ever in Alamosa this is the place to stop for dinner! Excellent suggestion from Steven over at Cumbres Toltec."
"I thought I reviewed this wonderful place on our first visit but I guess not. Love the ambiance of the restaurant and also the Santuary. Service both..."
