Our rankings combine ratings from Google and Yelp into a single score that weighs both quality and consistency. A shop with a 4.8 rating and hundreds of reviews will rank higher than a 5.0 with only a handful — because sustained quality across many visits tells you more than a small sample ever could.

We only include shops with at least 10 reviews to ensure meaningful data. Chain coffee shops are excluded — this guide is about the independents, the shops where someone chose every detail because they cared, not because a corporate playbook told them to.

Rankings are updated regularly as new reviews come in. If your favorite shop isn't listed, it may not have enough reviews yet — help them out by leaving an honest review on Google or Yelp.
